The Annual Studio Newsletter

Hey Reader!

It's been such a long time.

Hello to the newest subscribers! And Hello to my loyal and long-time readers.

Let's dive in to all the juicy stuff that will make up 2025.

Last year, I hired a business coach to help me get my ideas together and start executing. That in and of itself has been a wild ride of learning, unpacking some emotions, and realizing I'm pretty good at the things I do and should stop holding back.

This year, you'll see...

...The launch of my YouTube channel centered around storytelling, folklore, and traveling. Subscribe here!

...The continuation of World Herstory Podcast later in the year. Found anywhere you listen to podcasts!

...A new Instagram account. Which was a hard pill to swallow! But, I realized I'm over trying to pigeon-hole myself and try to be just one thing. I have a variety of things happening with my business, and you'll find a centralized location of those awesome things on my new Instagram account.

...The launch of storytelling retreats hosted around the world! They'll center on storytelling tools, traveling, and community. They will be intimate and open to only four spots per retreat. You can find information about the San Diego 2025 Retreat HERE and information about the Ibiza, Spain 2026 Retreat HERE.

...More of, well... me! I hide behind the camera as much as possible. This year, I'm taking the brave-for-me step to show up more often in a variety of ways. Reels, YouTube videos, pictures of me... it'll be wild. You'll think I'm actually running this business instead of wondering who posts the nice pictures every so often. Ha ha.

2025 is going to be amazing and filled with so many stories!

The nights are darker. The wind is louder. Every grocery store smells like cinnamon even though nobody asked for that. And somewhere in the distance you can hear the slow, ominous drumbeat of Black Friday approaching like a mythic beast emerging from the underworld. It...

Unverified Issue 3 Tales of a Crazed Storyteller Running Behind Like A Legend In this issue The Ugly Truth About Deadlines Even Myths Ran Late Why Lateness Isn’t Always Failure Delivered fashionably late, like all the best legends, Reader. Time and I are not on speaking terms. This email was supposed to show up on Tuesday. It is now Thursday. Which makes me not punctual, but mythic, because if history has taught us anything, it’s that legends rarely arrive on time. The Greeks had two words...

Unverified Issue 2 Tales of a Crazed Storyteller When Deadlines Eat Your Stories In this issue A Volcano, a Portal, and Zero Good Sense Snacks, Crutches, and Unfinished Memory Cards The Book That Died Quietly in the Backseat Reporting live from under a blanket of unfinished projects, Reader. Which brings me to this...
